This is Captain Haddock. He has beautiful golden eyes, soft grey and white fur, is quite the chatterbox, is quirky in his likes of keeping one paw up and has the coolest wonkiest whiskers.
What he is missing is a forever home, and someone who loves him and can give him that. Is this you? I hope so cause he is highly loveable.

This is Garfield and Tigger. Two cats rescued from a large feral cat colony, both seemed to excel around people. These two cats are doing wonderfully under the care of the Cat Rescue Toronto and can now be found at Cosmopawlitan.
These boys are looking for their forever homes. They both have very distinctive personalities but are equally as lovable.
Garfield upon first meeting would much prefer being petted over a treat, while Tigger is more playful and spunky by nature. Both were easy to handle and enjoyed being held.
It was my pleasure to photograph this two amazing cats and know they would be an amazing addition to any family.

I had a wonderful time at the Cosmopawlitan Family Day Event this past Monday.
I met some of wonderful pets and delightful owners. It was nice to see friendly faces.
We were visited by two amazing dogs named Taffy and Sammy from the Dog Rescuers Inc. Once in very hard life threatening circumstances,
but now in their forever homes.
A whole parade of dogs in support of the Pit Bull Co-op came to visit the shop, in which I got to meet both Pearl and Teddy. Both gentle, mild mannered, sweethearts.
They even had a documentary film crew in tow, those soon to be movie stars.
And not to forget both Missy and Bro, brother and sister cats looking for their person. You can come by and visit them at the shop today.
It was such a warm loving environment, it is obvious for much Hoann and the Cosmopawlitan family really love what they do. It was lovely to be part of such a brilliant day.

This is Whimsey Wisp of Misty Shore Cotons, She is a black and white Coton de Tulear puppy. Currently she is only 7 weeks old and just around 2lbs. My family is very excited to be welcoming into our home in the next few weeks. She is the newest addition to the Dewar clan. Even though she is small, I see her as containing innocence, hope, and a new beginning. We love her already, this little one lights up our word.
When she arrives I am looking forward to introducing her to my world. Expect to see updates on this wee one in the future.
If you have a pet that means something extra special to you as well, I would love to tell their story. I find the creature, be them big or small, with fins, scales, tails or wings, we love them all.
This is the beginning of Whimsey’s Story.

This weekend was my first craftshow, I met many brilliant craftspeople, artists, women, and creators. Through Linden I not only specialize in photography and digital art. I am also craftsperson and artist. This means I make a variety of fun, nifty and creatively crafty items. I am constantly pushing myself as an artist, so I am always looking to create new fun items for clients, followers, friends, other artist, photographers and fans. I am always opened to suggestions as well. I adore a challenge. And I truly believe anything is plausible. All you have to do is ask.
At the show I showed an assortment of different things: Photo jewellery, postcards, thank-you cards, calendars, magnets, custom designed vintage signs, poetry books, prints, gift certificates and even playing cards.
Everything I make is designed or crafted by me. I make products for and by photographers. And everything is customizable, want your own photo inlaid into a vintage setting that is also possible.
Thank-you as always for your support and encouraging me to make a whole new innovative visual experience.

When I met Brad and Shanna, they had mentioned how they had been searching for just the right photographer. They looked through many options and just couldn’t find someone that was perfect for their vision. And then they found myself; an artist that could view the world differently.
When couples come to me, and ask me to think outside the box and parameters, it pushes me to look beyond what exists to what could be; it encourages me to flex my creative muscle.
I was actually wowed by this couple. Brad is a hockey player, attractive; he is internationally traveled, out-going, loves animals, has impeccable taste, knows what he wants, deserves and goes for it. He has a beautiful, supportive and loving fiance named Shanna. He also happens to be in a wheel chair. However, he does in no way let this define who he is. Brad is probably one of the most abled people I have ever met. He lives a life that not all of us can say we do. To live with strength in self. I find him inspiring.
When I see Brad and Shanna, I honestly just see what a good looking couple they are, and their adoration for each other. It makes me want to show that feeling to the whole world.
I wanted to make the shoot about them, and their love. I researched what photographers do when there is a wheel chair in the mix? I looked for hours. In the end, the sad thing I found is that the chair was the focus, that the creativity was lost. No one shifted their perspective to give the couple what they needed. To be honest this did not sit well with me.
Like with most challenges I come across this I urged me to improve as an artist.
Why can’t photographers see past the chair? I thought. It is about people; that is what life has always been about. We come in all shapes, forms, heights, and from all walks of life. So, I decided to change things as online Linden can.
This was actually such a fun shoot. It felt like stepping out into the unknown. And from it we just enjoyed the moment, and how the shoot unfolded.
The Alder Street Library and the Rink in Hillsburgh Arena was really all for us taking photos in their locations.
This was Shanna and Brads first photo shoot, I would say that they acted as naturals. I am looking forward to their wedding in about a month!
Celebrating creative thinking and inspiring each other by living our lives to the fullest.
I found heaven today.
Lost within blossoms.
Kissed by sunlight.
The world stopped by and waved.
People looked on and smiled.
Travelers took up the dance,
Before whisked off to their very faraway cities.
Photographers peered through their lenses
To capture a story I weaved.
I often pretend I am ordinary,
Averagely normal in my very tightly knit world.
But… I am a muse.
On this past Friday in April,
I added to everyone else’s adventure.
I watched as people smiled and waved.
As they posed and fussed.
I twirled, smiled and laughed.
I winked and fluttered.
And in this instance I was just myself.
I was purely happy with everything as it was.
I realized maybe in this moment,
I was just where I was always meant to be.
If you are in or around Toronto at this moment, do not walk, I implore you to run to High Park. There you will float within a dream. Perhaps, there you will find your own heaven on earth. These blooms only happen for a couple weeks, they are fleeting, it is definitely a sight to see.
It is like looking at the feeling of pure love. Of poignant inspiration. This is spring in it’s finest.

I hope this Easter you felt loved, and put on your own Easter bonnet for a bit of fun and merriment.
This portrait was missing the March Hare. However, he somehow disappeared in March. So, all us in Wonderland now believe he dislikes April showers, he much more prefers May flowers, or June bugs instead of balloons or bubbles.
This is a creative family portrait, of part of my very wondrous family. These are the people I received the gift of creativity from. The rest of the series will be available in my blog soon.
Thank-you as always for your support and encouragement, as every single one of you help make Linden possible.
P.S. Sir Reginald the 1st lost his antler during the shoot. It was an unfortunate casualty. However, he said sometimes the bumps and bruises that come with creativity are worth it.Read More »
