This is Captain Haddock. He has beautiful golden eyes, soft grey and white fur, is quite the chatterbox, is quirky in his likes of keeping one paw up and has the coolest wonkiest whiskers.
What he is missing is a forever home, and someone who loves him and can give him that. Is this you? I hope so cause he is highly loveable.
Contact Cosmopolitan at www.cosmopawlitanpets.com or Toronto Cat Rescue www.torontocatrescue.ca for further details to
adopt our amazing furry friend.
This is Whimsey Wisp of Misty Shore Cotons, She is a black and white Coton de Tulear puppy. Currently she is only 7 weeks old and just around 2lbs. My family is very excited to be welcoming into our home in the next few weeks. She is the newest addition to the Dewar clan. Even though she is small, I see her as containing innocence, hope, and a new beginning. We love her already, this little one lights up our word.
When she arrives I am looking forward to introducing her to my world. Expect to see updates on this wee one in the future.
If you have a pet that means something extra special to you as well, I would love to tell their story. I find the creature, be them big or small, with fins, scales, tails or wings, we love them all.
This is the beginning of Whimsey’s Story.

This weekend was my first craftshow, I met many brilliant craftspeople, artists, women, and creators. Through Linden I not only specialize in photography and digital art. I am also craftsperson and artist. This means I make a variety of fun, nifty and creatively crafty items. I am constantly pushing myself as an artist, so I am always looking to create new fun items for clients, followers, friends, other artist, photographers and fans. I am always opened to suggestions as well. I adore a challenge. And I truly believe anything is plausible. All you have to do is ask.
At the show I showed an assortment of different things: Photo jewellery, postcards, thank-you cards, calendars, magnets, custom designed vintage signs, poetry books, prints, gift certificates and even playing cards.
Everything I make is designed or crafted by me. I make products for and by photographers. And everything is customizable, want your own photo inlaid into a vintage setting that is also possible.
Thank-you as always for your support and encouraging me to make a whole new innovative visual experience.

I hope this Easter you felt loved, and put on your own Easter bonnet for a bit of fun and merriment.
This portrait was missing the March Hare. However, he somehow disappeared in March. So, all us in Wonderland now believe he dislikes April showers, he much more prefers May flowers, or June bugs instead of balloons or bubbles.
This is a creative family portrait, of part of my very wondrous family. These are the people I received the gift of creativity from. The rest of the series will be available in my blog soon.
Thank-you as always for your support and encouragement, as every single one of you help make Linden possible.
P.S. Sir Reginald the 1st lost his antler during the shoot. It was an unfortunate casualty. However, he said sometimes the bumps and bruises that come with creativity are worth it.Read More »
This is Candice and David. They were such a beautiful couple to work with. Very relaxed, sweet, easy going and fun. They really just wanted for me to just go with the feeling of the day and have fun. These types of photo shoots are always exciting. It means the sky is the limit.
We did this photo shoot on a very cold sort of day. They were troupers withstanding the briskness, especially down by the water.
This photo shoot was taken in Toronto at Kew Beach and a pretty park nearby park. The indoor photos were of Candice’s family homes, it is something that means a lot to her family and she wanted it to be apart of the photo.
This shoot was photographed in a modern vintage style with an undeniable tones of romance.
I loved our time together!

When you visit a local bridal show, you often receive a bridal bag. It is filled with many goodies from different vendors. It will have fliers and coupons, business cards and amongst the various items you will find this cookie.
It was baked for each one of you with thought, attention to detail and care. It is not something that arrives from a baker or a gift making company. It is directly from the center of Linden to you.
Each show about 250 little cookies are baked from scratch, designed with thought and care, and packaged with love. It takes a few days of time. By the end I have cookies on every counter space possible.
I do this because I believe every item, even a bridal bag giveaway is important. It is a gift. I do this so you know that even though we haven’t met, I care about the details, I care about making your experience fun and enjoyable.
So when you are looking through your bag and you find that delicious confection, know that I was thinking about you.
I hope you enjoy!
Made with love,

In my world, for the last 7 years there was a big beautiful, larger then life dog named Ozzie. He was a golden doodle.
I am dedicating today’s post to him.
He had a smile that could turn the even darkest of days to bright.
He would dance for his food, prance on his walks, he loved hide-and-go-seek, he was a bit of a foolish clown, and a gentle giant.
Every day he made me feel safe, and adored.
This morning at 2AM, I watched the light go out of his eyes. The last day had been a roller coaster, his two lungs collapsed, it was unexpected. There was no trauma, no definitive cause, there was nothing we could have done. In a way, it was very random, and extremely unexpected. Do to his age, the fact he was happy, healthy, well pampered, went to the vet regularly for check-ups and loved we expected 3-6+ more years.
I am not going to ask the world why, I am not going to shout out and make a scene about unfairness, as that is not going to bring him back.
What I shall do is just feel grateful that I got to be with him in his last moments, blessed for all the moments that he made me smile, he made me laugh and was my friend, and that he loved me purely and unconditionally.
Today is a sad day. But, if Ozzie has taught me anything while he graced our lives with his presence is to enjoy every moment, to laugh often, that every person you meet is a new possible friend and to find contentment in the simplest things.
Ozzie, you shall be sorely missed.
But tomorrow shall be a brighter day.
I have attached one of my last photo shoots Of Ozzie. He is with my nephew. This is how I will remember him, with people he loved most, smiling.
I had a fabulous time at the Welcome Wagon Bridal show. There were many amazing vendors, wonderful brides, lovely new products, and so much more. It seemed to be a bustling sort of day. I truly had the best time being the show photographer.
New Product Line Alert! I now am offering custom made photo jewellery. It is wearable art! I do all the designs myself. You can choose from a variety of the many different samples or you can choose an art photo or an image from a photo shoot we have done together. The sky is the limit.
Below are some of the amazing vendors, pretty flowers, delicious confections and beautiful fashions you may have seen at the show. Also, photos of some of the many lucky prize winners, congratulations to you all!
